Authentic Irish Food

Farmhouse, Cottage, Hand-made; whilst these or similar terns have been hyjacked by shameful industry bods to cloak themselves in an aura of authenticity, real specialist food producers have been put through the hoops if they want to indicate the true nature of their product. A number of producers have requested Bridgestone to devise a logo for the producers of true handmade food sold in its locality, and this is what thay’ve come up with – the new Bridgestone Authentic logo come from the Greek word “authentic”, meaning a person who does things for him or her self. Marketeers, artisans, farmers and all who produce real food can now enjoy a new symbol of true merit’ Authentic Irish Food!

The logo is only given to those who make hand made food of local provenance.
