The aim of the symposium is to challenge our perspective on food and our connection to it. There will be approximately 40 speakers over the two day symposium, all chosen for their innovation, passion and influence on today’s food culture. Each speaker, with their own unique perspective, will talk for 15 minutes on the cultural, social, environmental and educational aspects of food.
This year our theme is the ‘Future of Food’. Our speakers will each present on this topic, in personal and political ways. These talks promise to excite and inspire, to bring you to the point of something new, to take you to the edge. The event will take place in the Spiegeltent, Eyre Square, Galway city.
